Since the time of Rev. Paul Rostad, our graduates have been instrumental in laying the strong evangelical foundation of the Christian Faith in North East India. We are thankful to God for continuing to use the Evangelical College of Theology to be instrumental in training leaders to lead others even in the twenty-first century. The following is a brief introduction of a few of our graduates:
Rev. L.B. Angam has served in India military service for a number of years until God called him to be a missionary and joined Operation Mobilization as a missionary for several years. He than came to Evangelical College of Theology and completed his M.Div. in 2004. He is presently serving as General Director of the Evangelical Congregational Church of India.
Rev. John Singsit was born and brought up in a God fearing family. Since childhood he had a great desire to serve Lord. With much difficulty because of the ethnic conflict, he was finally able to complete his Higher Secondary education. He was then enrolled at ECT during 2001-2004 and completed his B.Th. While in a Bible College, he received a call from God to be a missionary like the apostle Paul. He later joined Friends Missionary Prayer Band (FMPB) as Cross-cultural Missionary and started working in North India, Punjab since 2008 . During 8 years of ministry in Punjab, the Lord enables him to establish 2 Pucca Church buildings and 4 Congregations or Worship centers. He was also ordained as Presbyter by the Most Rev. PK Samantharoy, Bishop of Amritsar and Moderator of the Church of North India (CNI) on 7th February, 2016.
