Training Leaders to Lead Others

John Price

Mr. John Price

This is to introduce our dear friend John Price who has been contributing and developing the technological assets of ECT since he first came to visit us in 2013 along with the GMC India Work Team. He first came with ten laptops, taught students the basic use of a computer for a week and now he is working tirelessly in an effort to install a server-based system for the ECT community. God willing, he will be back at ECT during the month of August 2014 for this same purpose.

John was adopted as an infant and never knew his real parents but was raised by a wonderful bible believing couple and has since developed a strong faith through many trials and tribulations of his own including over 10 operations which he briefly shared last year when he was at ECT.  Continue reading

A team of eleven persons (four women and seven men) with a heart for India came from the USA as a Summer Work Team to help us build the fencing wall around the campus, one of our greatest long-felt needs! This Work Team is sponsored by the Global Ministries Commission, Evangelical Congregational Church of USA and it is the first Work Team from USA to have ever come to India in the history of our many years of partnership. Special thanks are due to Rev. Randy Sizemore, Director of Global Ministries Commission, E. C. Church, USA for the heart to take up such a tremendous endeavor.

The fund for the construction of the fencing wall was donated by the Global Ministries Commission through its VBS program. The idea of the Work Team was not that people in India do not know how to build walls, the idea behind the Work Team is best expressed in the words of Lucille Putt, Continue reading
